LEAD PASTOR
Liberty Christian Fellowship has opened the application process for Lead Pastor. We are seeking a godly man who has strong biblical knowledge, theological depth, and is a gifted teacher. It is important to our congregation that along with the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1-13, his character displays strong wisdom and discernment, leading of the Holy Spirit, integrity, humility, leadership and approachability, and a heart for discipleship and evangelism, including a love for marriages and families.
Since its founding, LCF has been a non-denominational, theologically conservative, gospel-centered, bible-preaching church that exists to build devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Theologically, we are an elder-led church with a Board of Directors that oversees the fiduciary and operational aspects of the church. By God’s grace and through His work in and through the ministries of LCF, the church has steadily grown over the years in numbers and attendance, but more importantly in the depth of its love for Jesus. In this current season of life and ministry, LCF has nearly 1,200 multigenerational regular attendees, with young and growing families representing our largest demographic. We are a no-frills church that strives to share the gospel each and every week through exegetical teaching.
Exempt, Regular Full-time; Ordination Required, Seminary or Master of Divinity or Formal Biblical/Pastoral training preferred.
Purpose: To provide overall leadership, strategic planning and teaching for Liberty Christian Fellowship and to set and carry out the vision of building devoted followers of Christ.
Qualifications:
Agreement with LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry.
Demonstration of spiritual maturity and integrity.
Spiritual gifts or abilities which include leadership and teaching.
Leader of leaders who casts vision to encourage, train, and equip existing leaders.
Church staff experience.
History of identifying, recruiting, training, and deploying leaders.
Commitment to support small group ministry.
Ability to recruit and then invest in strong team players for staff positions.
Experience providing pastoral care to people as needed.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry.
Model unity with LCF, the church staff, Elders, and Board of Directors.
Overall Leadership – pray and study scripture to stay attuned to God and His purposes for LCF; To read and research to stay culture-current and to grow as leader.
Staff – provide overall leadership for LCF and oversee planning of annual ministry goals.
Board of Directors - provide leadership for the team through prayer, shepherding, strategic planning, casting vision, listening, and regular communication; strategically sharing with staff and church direction of Board of Directors.
Board of Elders - provide leadership for the team through prayer, shepherding, strategic planning, casting vision, listening, and regular communication; to partner with the Board of Elders to shepherd the congregation.
Sunday Services – be the primary teacher and planner of services; lead and coordinate Sunday Service teaching team; lead or direct Sunday services. On non-speaking Sundays, be present for care and conversation with the church body.
Other Services and Events – direct the planning of special services such as Christmas Eve and Passion Week; plan and conduct weddings, funerals, and various meetings as needed; visit and observe church meetings and events sponsored by different ministries within the church, such as student, children, small group, Christian studies, worship, etc.
Pastoral Care – provide collaborative guidance to church staff pastoral care providers.
Assimilation – provide collaborative guidance to connect people to LCF relationally and in ministry; meet with new people to get acquainted and answer questions.
Any additional duties deemed necessary for the good of the church or as determined by the Board of Directors.
DIGITAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
20 hr/wk Nonexempt, Regular Part-time
Purpose: To create visual material for the church and assist with digital and print communications; to oversee website creation and upkeep; shoot, edit , produce video for presentation to effectively support the Lead Pastor in the vision and ministry of LCF.
Primary role:
Graphic Design: Create unified look on all materials and branding representing LCF, including sermon series design and slides, brochures, logos, business cards, letterhead, promotional materials, facility maps, etc.
Website: Manage website, including creation, design, and page layout; respond to requests from various ministry leaders to add, delete, and/or revise articles, registration forms, pictures, graphics, and videos on web; train ministry leaders to update their own particular ministry page; assist with development of new uses for website; be available to make time-sensitive changes on the web, such as cancellations or change of venue.
Video: Shoot, edit, and produce video promotions for various ministries, video messages from pastors, and video testimonies; produce videos to enhance/introduce Sunday messages and corporate times of worship.
Any additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
Demonstration of spiritual maturity and integrity.
Spiritual gifts or abilities which may include administration, helps, service, and encouragement.
Experience in problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with ADOBE products.
Self-starter; ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong team player; good follow-through with people and tasks.
CHILDCARE WORKER
Currently, we are in need of Childcare Workers on Wednesday (6-8:30pm) and Sunday evenings (4-7pm), our most utilized small group meeting times.
Compensation for childcare workers is $15/hr for individuals under 18 years old and $17/hr for anyone having graduated high school.
Childcare workers do not have to attend LCF but do need to complete an application and pass a background check.
The minimum age for childcare workers is 14 years old.
