STUDENT PASTOR
40 hr/wk and benefits, exempt full time. Some evenings required. Ordination optional
Purpose: To effectively provide overall leadership and spiritual growth for students at LCF and in the surrounding communities; to effectively support the Lead Pastor in the vision and ministry of LCF.
Primary role:
Overall Leadership – set goals and priorities and, monitor and measure progress with: The Assistant Student Pastor, Summer Interns, and Volunteer Leaders that serve as small group leaders at grade level 6-12. (called Discipleship Group leaders or D-Group Leaders)
Discipleship “D” Group Leaders – provide leadership for the volunteer leaders through prayer, planning, casting vision, listening, and regular communication; provide pastoral care for leaders.
Discipleship – recruit, lead, train, encourage and maintain accountability with D-Group leaders, student worship leaders, and other student workers in order to provide discipleship for students; gather and assimilate new students in D-groups and events; develop and conduct classes to address current student needs; conduct parents’ meetings as needed.
Sunday Evening Student Service – primary teacher and planner of services.
Pastoral Care – provide pastoral care for students through D-Groups and other activities that provide a network of relationships for students; provide pastoral care and encouragement for parents of teens; provide pastoral care through guest follow-up, office appointments, and referrals, as needed.
Event Leadership – lead and oversee events throughout the year. (Ex. mission trips, camps, retreats, etc…)
Oversight – provide oversight and supervision of Assistant Student Pastor and Summer Interns as they lead groups such as girls’ Bible studies, our college aged students, and the summer student activities.
Sunday Services – provide hospitality, prayer, and assimilation before, during and after services.
Any additional duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
Skills:
Significant experience and passion for working with middle, high school and college aged students and their families. Leadership, organization, strategic thinker, vision casting, communicator, recruiter, trainer, administration, servant’s heart, follow through, time management.
Digital Media Coordinator
20 hr/wk Nonexempt, Regular Part-time
Purpose: To create visual material for the church and assist with digital and print communications; to oversee website creation and upkeep; shoot, edit , produce video for presentation to effectively support the Lead Pastor in the vision and ministry of LCF.
Primary role:
Graphic Design: Create unified look on all materials and branding representing LCF, including sermon series design and slides, brochures, logos, business cards, letterhead, promotional materials, facility maps, etc.
Website: Manage website, including creation, design, and page layout; respond to requests from various ministry leaders to add, delete, and/or revise articles, registration forms, pictures, graphics, and videos on web; train ministry leaders to update their own particular ministry page; assist with development of new uses for website; be available to make time-sensitive changes on the web, such as cancellations or change of venue.
Video: Shoot, edit, and produce video promotions for various ministries, video messages from pastors, and video testimonies; produce videos to enhance/introduce Sunday messages and corporate times of worship.
Any additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
Demonstration of spiritual maturity and integrity.
Spiritual gifts or abilities which may include administration, helps, service, and encouragement.
Experience in problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with ADOBE products.
Self-starter; ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong team player; good follow-through with people and tasks.
Childcare Worker
Currently, we are in need of Childcare Workers on Wednesday (6-8:30pm) and Sunday evenings (4-7pm), our most utilized small group meeting times.
Compensation for childcare workers is $14/hr for individuals under 18 years old and $16/hr for anyone having graduated high school.
Childcare workers do not have to attend LCF but do need to complete an application and pass a background check.
The minimum age for childcare workers is 14 years old.
