When did you come to know Jesus?
I grew up in the Lutheran church and had completed a confirmation course in middle school. The first time I heard the gospel and understood was at Castaway Club, a Young Life camp, during the summer before my junior year of high school. While at Castaway the gospel had been explained in such a way that described a relationship that I wanted to have. That evening, with my mentor, I prayed to receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
How long have you been at LCF?
My family moved to Liberty and I began serving as an associate pastor at LCF in March of 2013.
Tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife, Kelsey and I were married in June of 2007. We have three beautiful and busy (I mean busy) kids. Two girls Wynndal, Cambre and one boy Bridger.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love spending down time with my family, however “down time” is a relative term with my kiddos! I love being with my kids and I love getting out with my wife. I will eat KC barbeque all day. I enjoy sports in general but you will find me cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturdays and the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings on Sundays (I am Minnesota born, so I can have my AFC team and my NFC team).
