When did you come to know Jesus?

After a decade of struggling with drugs and a host of other sins, God spoke into my life after an overdose and a desperate cry for Him to take away my dependencies, since I knew I could not. Praying to Jesus to take those things away from me, and randomly opening a Bible to Proverbs 1:7—“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction”—Jesus came into my life and has been drawing me closer to Him ever since.

How long have you been at LCF?

My wife and I began attending LCF around the Fall of 2012 after visiting many churches. The familial feel that LCF has, and the intentional effort to stay focused on Christ and being faithful to His Word led us to call this our home. In February of 2017, I was blessed and humbled to be brought on staff to help shepherd this congregation and to lead it in missions and evangelism.

Tell us a little bit about your family.

I am amazingly blessed to journey this life with my wonderful wife, Rachelle. She loves and serves relentlessly and is one of my heroes in the faith. We are blessed with three insanely awesome boys, who keep us busy and having fun.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my family or watching sports on television. If I get time to myself, it is usually spent in the gym or reading a good book.
