8th - 12th Grade

Welcome to The Edge!!!

Sunday nights:

The Edge is the name for the 8th-12th grade youth which meets from 7:00 - 8:30pm Sunday nights. Some people come early to hang out about 6:30 and some play basketball. At 7:00 everyone heads into the sanctuary for a time of worship and a message. After the message, sometimes we go to a restaurant to eat to spend more time together outside of the church.

D-groups:

The Edge is a time for the youth as a whole to come together and worship God as a community. The purpose of D-groups are to help youth grow in their faith and connect with other youth. Each grade has a D-group which is split up between boys and girls. The D-groups also meet during the week, each one picking a time to meet during each week that fits everyone's schedule. This time is where youth grow with other youth in the nuts and bolts of the faith.

Youth Band:

Goals:

To reach, teach and disciple teens of our community. Our desire is to see teenagers grow into life-long followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For the youth who attend the Edge we expect them to be in one of the three services on Sunday mornings just like the adults. Our vision is for the youth to not only sit and be quiet during Sunday morning services but to participate, listen, and take notes so they can learn right along-side the adults. We want the LCF youth to feel and be a part of LCF as a whole.
